We are currently looking for a Staffing Coordinator to support our Human Capital team. This position plays an essential role in coordinating temporary staffing needs and providing day-to-day HR support. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their HR career looking to gain experience in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide support for Hourly Talent Acquisition process

Serve as the main contact between Belvika and temporary staffing agencies.

Collaborate closely with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs.

Coordinate/Manage recruitment with agency partners with hourly roles; schedule interviews, follow up on open roles, draft offers
-
Coordinate the end-to-end recruitment process for a variety of positions with the HR management team.

Prepare and post vacant positions within the company’s internal hiring portal.

Coordinate interview schedules with the hiring Managers and help ensure a positive candidate experience.

Share weekly staffing reports with supervisors and HR.

Support hourly recruitment efforts (job postings, screening, interviews).

Verify applicant documentation, create offers and support the creation of announcements.

Follow corporate HR recruitment procedures and policies.

Perform administrative duties such as maintaining vacancy trackers regarding status/ATS, create reports regarding talent acquisition to ensure continued improvement within recruitment activities

Register and track agency staff in the time and attendance system. While, monitoring and resolving clock-in/out issues or attendance discrepancies.

Support production supervisors with agency performance and attendance tracking.

Coordinate and assist with orientation and onboarding new hires and ensuring documentation is complete.

Help coordinate health & safety training and maintain compliance records.

Maintain accurate employee files and records in the HR system.
-
Respond to basic employee inquiries and escalate issues as needed.

Help with HR administrative tasks, data entry, and internal reporting.

Participate in HR-related projects and initiatives as assigned.

Supporting & assisting the HR and payroll teams with payroll processing and vacation tracking as requested
Qualifications:
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in staffing coordination, HR administration, or Talent Acquisition (experience in manufacturing or warehouse settings is an asset).
- Solid understanding of Ontario employment legislation and health & safety requirements.
- Comfortable working with staffing agencies and managing schedules.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word); experience with HRIS or timekeeping systems is an asset.
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.

Belvika Trade & Packaging is a full service supplier and has extensive experience in managing both manual processing and automated equipment to handle primary and secondary packaging of products. A sample of available processes includes: flexible packaging for VFFS, flow wrap HFFS, and pouches from roll stock or premade.
Belvika’s specialty form, fill, and seal capabilities have surpassed the competition in all areas. Top-of-the-line equipment enables us to fill a variety of products to meet the specific needs of each individual client. Our filling capabilities range from naked product to wrapped individual snack-size items, as well as full-size wrapped product. No weight range has thus far been a challenge.
We fill using methods of piece count, linear weight, combination weight, by volume or auger fillers. Our fully computerized multi-head weigh scale systems ensure that all products are consistently weighed/filled to the proper specifications.
Belvika has extensive experience in the co packing industry and provides the following services;
• Co filling naked items in Primary Packaging • Sourcing Materials • Inventory Management of all materials– Identification and full lot tracking capabilities • Manual Assembly – Kitting, Speciality Packs, Promotional Items • Assembly and repacking counter and floor displays, DRP, PDQ and RRP • Semi Automated Packing – Flow Wrapping, Shrink Wrapping, Shrink Bundling, • Tip on Glue Dispensing, Re-labelling • Blister Packaging • Metal detection • Vertical Form Fill and Sealing of flexible primary and secondary packaging • Horizontal Form Fill and Sealing of flexible primary and secondary packaging • Volumetric Filling and Sealing • Vertical Cartoning • Horizontal Bagging • Sorting/QA Inspection • Fulfillment • Application of tamper evidence seals • EnviroShells • Reworking & retrofitting • Gifts and Promotional packing • Product rework • Third party logistics
