- Our client, a commercial real estate company, is looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join their team! Reporting to the CFO, this is a full time ON SITE position. The company is located in the heart of Westmount (free parking!).
- Responsibilities:
- Day-to-day accounting duties include: o Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable and perform bank reconciliations o Process invoices, receipts and vendor payments o Maintain general ledger and ensure accurate financial records for multiple entities and properties o Prepare and file sales taxes o Process payroll through ADP Prepare invoices for intercompany chargebacks and management fees Record intercompany transactions Maintain various schedules and reconciliations Government payments, such as corporate instalments and balance of tax payments, for both Canada and US Prepare 1099's for US companies Assist in creating and implementing processes and internal controls Assist in annual CAM reconciliations Assist in the preparation of year-end files for accountants and year- end process
- Requirements:
- Experience with Yardi and QuickBooks 5+ years of bookkeeping experience, preferably in the real estate industry Bilingual in English and French Extremely organized and detail oriented Self-reliant, efficient, problem-solver Strong communicator
- Compensation and benefits:
- Competitive salary 4 weeks of vacation Finish early on Fridays Health insurance after 3 months
