The Demand Delivery Specialist ensures safety and adherence to applicable regulations and internal requirements in the delivery of our product offering to our "Demand Delivery" clients. The Demand Delivery Specialist provides quality customer service and collaborates with fellow staff to maintain a safe, clean and organized warehouse.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Deliver DuBois Chemicals products to Customer Sites, while ensuring safety, quality and adherence to regulations.
- Work with manual and powered dollies, lift docks to move and deliver pallets of chemicals containers to point of use. Transfer of chemical products from containers into storage tanks.
- Follow WHMIS, SDS and all other safety training requirements and procedures.
- Provide 100% compliance with all PPE and safe handling practices, from SDS and company policies and procedures.
- Decant bulk chemicals into transfer containers for delivery as specified in related workflows.
- Follow all government and regulatory requirements when handling and transporting materials (including TDG regulations).
- Verify calibration/inspection on all devices used, ensure they are current as per date shown on the calibration sticker and report any concerns
- Ensure relevant documents and checklists are completed as scheduled
- Complete documentation as required by internal/regulatory requirements
- Report adequate inventory spare parts that pertain to Demand Delivery
- Maintain safe, tidy and efficient storage of materials in the plant on racking and in other storage areas
- General housekeeping of the plant and surrounding areas
- Occasional building/furniture/equipment repair at various DuBois offices when deemed appropriate by Warehouse Manager.
- Assist in any Root Cause Analysis / Corrective Action Plan / follow up relating to investigations performed by Warehouse Manager
- Provide back up support to all plant staff when needed
- Perform such other duties or tasks as assigned by supervisor and/or management
Travel Requirements:
- This position requires daily travel to customer sites. Overnight travel may be required from time to time.
Minimum Requirements:
- Class D license with Z endorsement
- Must have 5 years with a DZ license
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience operating a forklift
- Ability to collaborate effectively and efficiently with colleagues within different departments
- Ability to lift 50lbs and move heavy drums
- Clean Driver’s Abstract
