Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Regional Account Manager - Ontario.
As Regional Account Manager you will be responsible for driving sales growth by developing, implementing, and executing the sales strategy for your assigned territory. You will identify, develop and manage relationships with key customers, create and present proposals/quotes and provide input into product development. You will report to the Director of Sales-Canada.
Your day-to-day tasks will include sales activities, client communication, program implementation support, and representing EcoSafe at industry events and conferences.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, marketing, environmental sciences or a related field
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in sales or account management roles, preferably in waste management, commercial or broadliner distribution, or sales in an environmentally related field
- Preference will be given to candidates who have previous work experience in the Waste Management industry
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
- Strong sales skills including closing skills, motivation for sales, prospecting, territory management, presentation skills and meeting sales goals
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and deliver excellent client service
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written in English
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks
- Ability to work independently and remotely
- Ability to travel frequently within Ontario and/or Atlantic provinces
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software, preferably ODOO, SAP or Sales Force
