About the role

Three Links Care Society is looking for an energetic, innovative individual with strong clinical skills to take on the role of Clinical Leader at our Care Home.

Reporting to the Director of Care, this key nursing leadership position provides clinical support to the professional nursing staff (RN/RPN/LPN/Students), Resident Care Attendants and the Interdisciplinary Team.

The Clinical Leader has a key role in education, is a clinical resource to the care team and participates in quality improvement activities. The role also assists in the development, implementation and evaluation of nursing procedures and policies, quality improvement committee work, care conferences coordination, medication reviews, staff orientation and professional development of staff. They work closely with physicians and external care teams to help support our residents, families and staff. Work experience in a residential care setting or with seniors is an asset.

Current registration with CRNBC, BScN or equivalent education and experience required (minimum 2 years), along with

  • Strong clinical background
  • Teaching skills
  • Coordinating and participating in Care Conferences
  • Knowledge of P.I.E.C.E.S., GPA, Wound Care
  • Strong communication skills
