About the role
The NARMCO Group/Central Stampings Ltd, located in Windsor On. Canada is looking to add to their team a Maintenance Supervisor.
The Maintenance Supervisor promotes safe working practices in a safe and orderly environment. He/she meets and exceeds all legislated standards and all Company standards, procedures, rules and practices for loss control. He/She ensures that all aspects of the area under his/her supervision are in accordance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and its regulations.
The supervisor is responsible for maintenance machinists, millwrights, automation technicians, apprentices and / or trainees under their supervision and will ensure consistent production of a quality product. He/she is responsible for communicating, executing and meeting all quality goal by following the approved systems set out by the Company and for contributing ideas for improvements to these systems where possible.
The Supervisor will ensure PM schedules are adhered to and record. He/She will report weekly on status at production meeting. He/She will be responsible for ensuring all corporate and plant policies are followed pertaining to PM work and outside contractors. (i.e. Time and material punch cards, use of corporate authorized vendors, etc.)
The Supervisor will be qualified to train employees to work productively, evaluate their progress and be an integral part of the employee and retention process.
The Supervisor shall report to the Maintenance Manager.
Central Stampings Ltd. is a Tier 1 automotive metal stamping facility. Experience in heavy tonnage metal stamping presses, welders, robots, conveyors and industrial machinery including compressors, chillers, and industrial building maintenance would be an asset.
