About TekRek

TekRek is a boutique tech recruitment firm specializing in placing high-performing engineers, data experts, and product leaders across Canada and the US. We're growing fast and building a high-output, energetic team that thrives on solving hiring challenges for some of the most ambitious startups and enterprise clients in North America.

We’re now looking for an Operations Coordinator to join us and help keep the engine running behind the scenes.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

  • Build Business Development Lists: Research and compile targeted lead lists to support our outbound sales campaigns.
  • Keep Our Data Clean & Useful: Maintain and update our internal systems (ATS, CRM, spreadsheets), ensuring accuracy in candidate, client, and performance data.
  • Performance Reporting: Prepare weekly and monthly reports on key metrics, like submissions, interviews, placements, and revenue, used in internal team meetings and forecasting.
  • Support Scheduling: Coordinate interviews between candidates and clients, managing calendar invites, reminders, and follow-ups.
  • Office & Supplies Management: Keep our office running smoothly by managing supplies, organizing deliveries, and coordinating any logistical needs.
  • Support Onboarding: Help onboard new internal team members and contractors by collecting documents, setting up tools, and ensuring a smooth Day 1 experience.

What You Bring

  • 0–3 years of experience in an operations, admin, or coordinator role (ideally in a recruiting or sales-driven environment)
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Calendar); bonus if you’ve worked with an ATS or CRM
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable juggling competing priorities
  • Proactive problem-solver who communicates clearly and takes ownership of their work
  • A collaborative mindset and a willingness to dive into new projects as the business evolves
