About the role

Business Analyst

Scope of Position:

The Business Analyst support the ongoing transformation of our business through delivery of improvements to systems and processes. Working cross functionally with IT, business leaders and stakeholders you will be engaged in medium to large, very complex projects that solution and resolve enterprise business issues, drive efficiency, and support a world class experience for our customers and end users. This position is reporting to CTO.

Key Responsibilities:

· Conducting detailed requirements gathering sessions with Business Leaders and SME's.

· Act as a liaison between the various business functional areas (including customers) and the Information Technology team and third-party vendors to translate enterprise business requirements into functional requirements.

· Work with Business Leaders to Build solutions for the enterprise and resolve high profile issues

· Collaborating with cross functional teams and stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes.

· Analyzing, understanding, and documenting business requirements for new systems and process enhancements.

· Mapping and documentation of workflows and very complex business processes for large and strategic projects.

· Act in a consultative way with Business stakeholders on initiatives and in developing business strategies

· Supporting business leaders with continuous improvement initiatives that drive efficiency and overall performance.

· Reporting and analysis of data and trends that evaluate and monitor success of improvement outcomes.

· Prioritizing and managing multiple simultaneous tasks and deadlines.

· Perform effectively as a member of project team(s) and individually.

Skills and Experience Required:

· 3+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst or equivalent role.

· Experience working with IT/IS teams

· Experience working with tight project deadlines, vendor and internal customer contracts and budget constraints

· Experience using systems life cycle management concepts

· Experience documenting technical requirements

· Experience in creating user guides and user manuals

· Experience in delivering a significant technology and/or process change project.

· Knowledge of BA and project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.

· Excellent written, communication and collaboration skills.

· Knowledge of LMS systems, 24X7 environments and ESB’s preferred.

· University Degree in Computer Science, Diploma, or equivalent experience
