Position Summary
SolidCAD is seeking a strategic, bilingual Content Marketing Specialist to join our growing marketing team. This role is ideal for a content marketer who combines creativity with technical expertise, understands the fundamentals of modern digital marketing, and can execute strategies that attract, engage, and convert audiences.
This is a remote-first position but may require occasional on-site work or travel to client locations—primarily for the production of video content and customer success stories.
We are specifically looking for a candidate fluent in English and French, with a strong grasp of content strategy, SEO best practices, HubSpot automation, and video content management using Wistia.

Key Responsibilities
Content Strategy & Execution
- Own the planning and execution of SolidCAD’s content calendar aligned with business objectives and integrated campaign initiatives.
- Bring a strong visual sensibility to your work, ensuring all content—written and visual—supports SolidCAD’s brand consistency and design standards.
- Produce high-quality written and visual content across web, blog, email, and social channels, tailored to technical audiences and business buyers.
- Collaborate with the SEO Specialist, Field Marketers, and Demand Generation Specialist to ensure alignment across touchpoints.
SEO-Driven Content Creation
- Develop search-optimized blog content, landing pages, and promotional materials based on keyword research and campaign goals.
- Work closely with the SEO Specialist to monitor keyword rankings, identify content gaps, and drive organic traffic.
Email Marketing & HubSpot Automation
- Design and deploy marketing emails, help support the Demand Generation efforts with content for nurturing sequences and build campaign workflows using HubSpot.
- Leverage A/B testing, segmentation, and performance tracking to improve open rates, click-throughs, and conversions.
Video and Content Library Management
- Oversee SolidCAD’s video content hosted on Wistia, ensuring assets are organized, tagged, and easily accessible.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to develop short videos, tutorials, and customer testimonials.
Sales Enablement & Customer Success Content
- Develop and maintain a growing library of brochures, presentations, case studies, and customer success stories that support buyer journeys and sales conversations.
- Partner with customer success and sales teams to identify content needs and storytelling opportunities.
Content Distribution & Advocacy
- Manage distribution of content across email, web, social media, and employee advocacy platforms like Sociabble.
- Support employee engagement on Sociabble through training, content preparation, and reporting on platform usage.
Analytics & Optimization
- Track performance KPIs such as content-driven lead generation, blog traffic, SEO rankings, video views, and email campaign metrics.
- Use data to make informed recommendations and continuously improve content strategy and performance.
Translation & Localization

Oversee translation workflows using SmartCat, ensuring timely and culturally appropriate versions in both English and French.
What Success Looks Like
In the first 6–12 months, we’ll be looking for:

Increased traffic to blog and website through organic and email channels.

Growth in lead conversions from SEO-optimized and gated content.

Increased usage and engagement with Wistia-hosted video content.

Delivery of case studies and customer stories aligned to key verticals.

About you...
Qualifications
- Bilingual in English and French with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in content marketing, digital marketing, or communications—preferably in a B2B or technical industry.
- Solid understanding of SEO best practices, keyword strategy, and content analytics.
- Hands-on experience with HubSpot (Marketing Hub: email, workflows, landing pages).
- Experience managing and organizing video content libraries using Wistia or equivalent tools.
- Strong visual storytelling skills and a creative eye for layout, typography, and brand consistency.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) for content and visual collaboration.
- Strong project management skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
- Experience coordinating freelance writers, designers, translators, or video producers is an asset.
