Air Unlimited is in search of an Industrial Technical Sales Representative – Compressed Air Systems. The successful applicant will be a self-starter who is a highly motivated individual. They will be responsible for new and existing business regarding compressed air and other related products. They will maintain excellent rapport and build long-term value-based relationships with new and existing customers. With their enthusiastic and ambitious energy to provide the highest quality of customer service, they will play a definite key role in enhancing our corporate image and reputation.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Excel at finding and closing new opportunities, growing existing accounts and creating and maintaining loyal relationships with customers
- Sell air compressor systems and other related products
- Call engineer firms and assist engineers with system designs
- Review tender documents on a weekly basis
- Enter and provide quotations and follow up with customers on quotes and existing/new jobs
- Interact effectively with the service department to follow up on new business, key accounts, and service parts
- Work independently while remaining part of a sales team
- Create and present sales presentations to customers
- Meet and/or exceed the sales target
- Introduce new products and technical updates to customers
- Attend scheduled sales meetings and follow the Impact Sales Process
- Provide excellent support and service to all Air Unlimited Inc. customers
- Other duties as assigned by management
Beneficial Skills and Requirements:
- Occasional out of town work may occur
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-starter who is highly motivated
- Experience in selling to OEM manufacturing clients is a definite asset
- Experience in industrial sales is considered an asset
- Must have proficient knowledge of computers/Microsoft Office programs
- Motivated team play with strong written and organizational skills
Education and Training
- Post secondary education in Electrical Engineering/Technologist considered an asset: EIT, CET, EET
Required License or Certifications:
- Class 5 Drivers License / Valid Passport
