The Assistant Marketing Manager, Customer Acquisition is responsible for supporting the development and delivery of marketing campaigns and always-on programs for the PC Mastercard portfolio. This role will be responsible for supporting product growth across paid, owned and earned channels, in both digital and in-store. The fast, dynamic pace of this role requires the Assistant Marketing Manager to be able to learn quickly and execute efficiently. The candidate must be a team player with a passion for innovation and is excited to bring to life impactful marketing programs for our newest payment product.

What You’ll Do:

  • Assist in development and execution of the PC Mastercard marketing plan, adapting as the business and competitive landscape evolves
  • Support the briefing and development of marketing projects, including collaborating with multiple internal and external stakeholders (creative and media agencies, Digital Platforms, Internal Comms, PR, PC Optimum, Loblaw Brands, Shoppers Drug Mart)
  • Lead the project management and execution of integrated marketing campaigns, including customer collateral, website content, digital ads, emails, social and PR content support, campaign splash pages, and post-campaign reporting/analysis
  • Keep acquisition programs on track, meeting the various milestones in a timely manner from requirements gathering and development through to launch and optimization
  • Responsible for ensuring proper testing, QA is done on all campaigns prior to execution
  • Identify areas of opportunity for future programs and provide recommendations
  • Work with the Legal team to ensure compliance of all customer-facing campaigns
  • Work with the Finance team to manage budget, tracking and invoicing for projects
  • Research and track credit card trends within the financial industry (including competitors) and communicate findings to the wider marketing team

What You bring:

  • 3-5 years of experience with a post-secondary education in Marketing, Business or Commerce (experience in Digital Marketing, Financial Services or Credit Cards a bonus)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to assist in the development and execution of large integrated marketing campaigns
  • Capacity to manage, prioritize and deliver/execute multiple tasks and projects effectively and on-time
  • Ability to identify, diagnose and quickly mediate issues that arise in projects, teams and activities
  • Strong self-starter, who leads with curiosity and has a passion to succeed
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment, either with or in an agency culture
