Reporting to the Manager, Information Technology, the Software Application Specialist is responsible for mentoring users and providing support for a diverse range of software applications, including the MS Office suite, email, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, and more. This role requires a strong knowledge of AI platforms such as Copilot and ChatGPT, with a solid understanding of advanced prompting techniques. Familiarity with low-code process automation platforms is also essential.

As part of this role, the specialist will lead AI deployment projects, develop and conduct training sessions, mentor and coach teams, and improve operational efficiency through the advanced use of business applications. Additionally, the specialist will evaluate and recommend applications to enhance operational efficiency and lead POC projects to assess the effectiveness of new products.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Provide expert guidance and support for various software applications, including Office suite, Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint and various AI initiatives etc.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive library of user tutorials, FAQs, and troubleshooting guides to assist users independently.
• Create and deliver engaging training materials, including presentations, video tutorials, and hands-on workshops.
• Lead the deployment of AI platforms and initiatives within the organization, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
• Develop and execute project plans, timelines, and deliverables for AI deployment initiatives.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure AI solutions meet the organization's needs and objectives.
• Design, develop, and conduct training sessions for users on various software applications, focusing on advanced functionalities and best practices.
• Evaluate, implement, and leverage process automation tools and frameworks to optimize operational efficiencies and reduce manual efforts.
• Manage and Maintain HPS Application Inventory.
• Stay current with emerging software applications and technologies, evaluating their potential impact on the organization.
• Develop automation scripts and workflows that align with operational needs and business objectives.
• Continuously review and enhance existing automation processes to ensure they remain effective and efficient.

Do you qualify? We are seeking:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Certification in relevant software applications and AI platforms.
• 6+ years experience as a Software Application Specialist or related role with a strong interest in technology and systems, coupled with a genuine curiosity and drive to understand and master new concepts and tools.
• Proven experience in supporting and mentoring users on software applications, particularly MS Office suite, email, Teams, and Power BI etc.
• Strong knowledge of AI platforms such as Copilot and ChatGPT, with a solid understanding of advanced prompting techniques.
• Familiarity with low-code process automation platforms and their implementation in a business context.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
• Analytical mindset with a focus on problem-solving and continuous improvement.
• Experience in conducting training sessions and developing training materials.
• Knowledge of business process analysis and improvement techniques.
