Duties

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluations to determine the appropriate treatment plans.
• Utilize osteopathic manipulative techniques to treat musculoskeletal disorders and enhance patient mobility.
• Administer medications as needed and monitor patient responses to treatments.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate medical records using electronic health record systems such as Epic.
• Collect and analyze data related to patient outcomes for ongoing research and quality improvement initiatives.
• Provide education and support to patients regarding lifestyle changes, preventive care, and home care strategies.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in osteopathic medicine through continuous professional development.

Requirements

• Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
• Valid state medical license to practice as an Osteopath.
• Experience in a medical office setting is preferred, with exposure to acute care environments being advantageous.
• Familiarity with pediatric care is a plus.
• Proficiency in medication administration and patient care practices.
• Strong skills in data collection and analysis for research purposes.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages.
• Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care in a hospital or clinical setting.

Pay: $33.63-$90.95 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
