About the role

Are you a seasoned institutional sales professional with a robust background in asset management and a proven track record of driving growth and delivering results? If so, this role is perfect for you.

A bit about the job: As the Head of Institutional- Americas, you will spearhead a bold sales strategy to ignite new business growth across the Americas region. This high-impact role is ideal for a sales driver ready to shape the future of distribution at Aviva Investors. As a key player on the regional leadership team, you will lead from the front—pursuing opportunities, exceeding sales targets, and aligning with our global ambitions.

You will inspire a high-performing team, champion a collaborative, solutions-first culture, and build trusted relationships with pension funds, endowments, foundations, corporates, and insurers. From industry events to boardroom meetings, you will be the face of Aviva Investors—bringing insight, energy, and credibility. Partnering across distribution, investment, and support teams, you will ensure a seamless, strategic approach to business development. Staying sharp on market shifts, competitor moves, and regulatory changes, you will feed insights back into strategy and innovation.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

  • Established Network: Strong, trusted relationships across institutional clients in the Americas.
  • Proven Leadership: A hands-on, lead-from-the-front approach that inspires high performance.
  • Investment Expertise: Deep knowledge across public and private markets, backed by a strong sales track record aligned with Aviva Investors’ capabilities.
  • Market Insight: Ability to use data and trends to shape smart, strategic decisions.
  • Executive Accountability: Driving a high-performance culture while ensuring operational and investment excellence.
