GSK is looking to hire a Regional Business Manager, Vaccines Specialty to join our Vaccines Division. This role is field-based and reports directly to the National Director, Vaccines. The ideal candidate will reside in Ontario. This is a regional leadership role with responsibility for Ontario, Manitoba, and the Atlantic provinces.
In this role, you will be responsible for leading a high-performing regional team of Key Account Managers (KAMs) within the Cardiorenal Metabolic (CVRM) therapeutic areas. You will oversee the execution of regional business strategies and ensure the effective implementation of GSK’s vaccines portfolio through a Key Account Management model. This includes developing talent, driving business performance, and building strong partnerships with key external stakeholders. You will enable the field team to deliver meaningful, science-based solutions to customers by fostering strategic relationships and a deep understanding of the healthcare landscape. Your leadership, coaching, and collaboration with internal teams—such as medical, marketing, and government affairs—will be essential in shaping and executing brand strategy while supporting GSK’s mission to help Canadians do more, feel better, and live longer.

As a Key Account Manager, you will work in a field-based capacity, traveling within your assigned geography. GSK will set you up for success by providing:

Role Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the role will include:
- Leading, managing, and inspiring a high-performing regional team of Key Account Managers aligned to GSK’s vaccines strategy
- Developing and executing comprehensive regional business plans that meet or exceed sales targets
- Coaching and mentoring KAMs to maximize performance and professional development
- Enabling the team to deliver unmatched value to customers through meaningful relationships and science-based solutions
- Driving accountability and alignment to brand goals within a Key Account Management framework
- Building strong partnerships with key external stakeholders, including healthcare providers, systems, and institutions
- Collaborating with medical, marketing, and government affairs teams to provide field insights and shape brand strategies
- Recruiting and retaining top talent to build a strong, future-focused team
- Ensuring all activity aligns with internal compliance and regulatory standards
- Making data-driven decisions through solid analytical capabilities and business acumen
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, life sciences, or related field
- Minimum 4+ years of pharmaceutical or healthcare sales experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership capacity
- Strong knowledge of specialty therapeutic areas—recent Canadian experience in Cardiology, Endocrinology, or Nephrology (minimum 2 years)
- Experience in vaccines or specialties, and proven success with Key Account Management models
- 2+ years of experience in marketing or brand strategy is an asset
- Experience working cross-functionally with medical, government affairs, or strategic roles preferred
- Strong communication, coaching, and leadership skills with a passion for team development
- Excellent knowledge of Canadian pharmaceutical compliance and regulatory frameworks
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (required for company vehicle eligibility)
- Ability to travel extensively throughout the territory and attend national/regional meetings (overnight travel required)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree or MBA
- Direct sales and leadership experience in the Vaccines and/or Specialty pharmaceutical market
- Deep understanding of Canadian healthcare systems, institutional stakeholders, and evolving account dynamics
- Strong presentation, negotiation, and analytical skills
- Demonstrated ability to foster collaboration across internal teams and external partners
