About the role
This role is a unique mix of planning and purchasing support and project coordination. Think of it as part Procurement Specialist, part Project Management Office (PMO). You’ll be in charge of working with co-mans to manage and control inventory levels of our finish goods, while also being the critical link between our innovation teams, suppliers, and senior procurement professionals, ensuring innovation projects stay on track and on budget.
This position is 90% transactional and administrative with a 10% strategic edge, offering the right person a chance to gain valuable experience while making a real impact.
What You’ll Do:

Work with Co-mans to manage and control inventory levels for raw materials/packaging as well as finish goods

Advising leadership on any risk to the NP business, such as inventory shorts, price changes or ingredient/packaging restrictions Support innovation and new product development projects by coordinating procurement activities.

Assist with obtaining quotes, pricing, and preliminary negotiations.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, Supply Chain, and Sales.

Ensure compliance with procurement policies and processes.

Support the larger Procurement team with day-to-day transactions, data entry, and administrative tasks.
What You Bring:

A background in Procurement, Supply Chain, Project Coordination, or related field within a manufacturing environment (2+ years’ experience preferred).

Strong organizational and multitasking skills—you’re the kind of person who loves a good checklist.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with internal and external stakeholders.

Comfortable with spreadsheets, data tracking, and basic contract language.
Notes:
- Location: Richmond, British Columbia (Hybrid)
- Compensation: $70,000 – $80,000 annually + 10% retention bonus
- One year contract role
