About the role
Bloom Recruitment is seeking an Associate Account Manager on behalf of our client, a fast-growing MSP with over a decade of experience delivering high-impact IT solutions across Greater Vancouver. This is an ideal opportunity for a Tier 1 IT professional with excellent communication skills looking to transition into an account management role.
As an Associate Account Manager, you’ll act as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of clients. You’ll provide updates on service tickets, answer questions about services, and support client satisfaction through strong communication and proactive follow-up. This is a client-facing role that does not require vCIO-level responsibilities but benefits from your technical foundation, especially if gained within an MSP environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, ensuring a smooth and responsive experience
- Provide regular updates to clients on the status of service tickets and ongoing projects
- Answer questions related to IT services, support coverage, and general account matters
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through proactive communication and check-ins
- Coordinate with internal technical teams to ensure timely issue resolution and service delivery
- Identify opportunities to enhance client satisfaction and relay feedback to internal stakeholders
- Support renewals, service expansions, and occasional sales of hardware/software to existing clients
- Keep client account information organized and up to date in the CRM and ticketing system
Qualifications:
- 1–2 years of technical experience, ideally in a Tier 1 Help Desk or IT Support role within an MSP
- Strong interest in client relations, customer service, or sales
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Technically curious with the ability to explain basic IT concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Organized, proactive, and eager to learn and grow in a hybrid technical-client services role
- Familiarity with ticketing systems, basic networking, Office 365, and remote support tools is an asset
