You will be responsible for:

Build robust and competitive tender cost commitment.

Manage Product sourcing reference library to fit with market prices.
-
Develop and implement sourcing strategy at the tender phase to ensure optimal cost productivity (i.e. preferred suppliers, saving & risk assessments, etc.)

Collect and formalize Return of Experience on projects deployed in the region.

Liaise with Engineering Department, Bid Managers and with many different stakeholders (i.e. Supplier Quality, Supply Chain, etc.) to prepare tender sourcing commitment.

Challenge commodity buyers & managers to increase competitiveness and ensures convergence of commodity strategies with Tenders.

Manage Cost Opportunities & Risks with tender & multi-métier teams.

Challenge tender requirements when relevant (promote standardization or optimum technology).

Manage sourcing commitment into Tender.

Lead Pre-bid agreements at the tender phase when it brings a real advantage.

Cooperate proactively with Engineering to ensure “Design to Cost (DTC).”

Consolidate the sourcing commitment in the tender phase, including actualization & firming calculations.

Build realistic, competitive and on-time tender cost commitment.

Lead the strategy and monitor localization requirements (Buy America, Buy Canada, DBE).
What you need to succeed:
- Bachelor in a relevant area of expertise: Purchasing, Engineering, Project Management, Quality and Supply Chain, and/or Finance.
- 5 years of experience in a relevant area of expertise, Project, Sourcing, Engineering, Quality, Procurement, and/or Supply Chain.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools with advanced knowledge of Excel.
- Good communication skills in English, ability to work well in a team environment and strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a challenging and dynamic environment.
- Results-oriented approach with the ability to understand and apply rigorous and structured methodologies to complete the work as required.
- The ability to communicate well in French is considered an asset.
