The Philosophy Department is a medium size department in the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, with an active and enthusiastic faculty supported by 4 permanent staff. We have a very successful undergraduate program that has been growing at a steady pace. Our office team prides itself for being friendly, helpful, and highly efficient.

About the Role

Provides administrative assistance to the Manager, Academic and Administrative Services. Performs reception, secretarial, and clerical duties for the Philosophy Department and its Undergraduate program. Responds to requests for information regarding undergraduate program admission and requirements, registration, course offerings, course adds/swaps, and exams. Maintains and processes a variety of forms and confidential documents, requests, and course outlines; and maintains accurate database and spreadsheet records. Provides assistance with expense claims and other financial forms, and serves as back-up for other positions in the department.
