This unique role allows you to be part of a significant transformation project. You will assist the Treasury, Collateral and Payment teams with implementing a new system and other tasks as needed. Every day will present new and exciting challenges. AIMCo’s Treasury team is responsible for AIMCo’s cash forecasting, liquidity management and banking strategy. AIMCo’s Collateral team is responsible for counterparty risk management, securities lending analysis, futures margining and holistic collateral inventory management. AIMCo’s Payment team is responsible for bank account management, global market enablement, cash movement executions and transaction investigations. Your role will enable you to get exposure to all these different areas through the project and daily tasks. As a key member of the Finance and Operations group you will be helping AIMCo execute its Business Transformation initiative and support a variety of liquidity optimization enhancements.

Responsibilities:

  • Level up AIMCo’s day to day operations by utilizing your technical prowess

  • Develop and maintain critical Treasury, Payments and Collateral reporting and dashboards to support portfolio management, risk oversight and operational teams across AIMCo

  • Helping test, troubleshoot and implement Blackrock Aladdin as an AIMCo core system

Our Ideal Candidate:

  • Business, Accounting, Computer Science or related Degree or Diploma is preferred

  • 3+ years of relevant experience

  • Progress towards a CFA or CTP designation is a strong asset

  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel, Power BI or Data Bricks

  • Confidence managing large datasets

  • Data-driven mindset; comfortable finding solutions to problems independently

  • Superior writing and verbal skills to communicate

  • Results orientated; highly organized and detail-oriented and possessing the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities

  • Embraces a practical approach to resolving issues, accurately and with urgency

  • Interest in financial markets would be an asset

  • Demonstrates a strong commitment to AIMCo’s core values of excellence, transparency, humility, integrity, and collaboration, and inspires the same in others
