What you’ll do – The opportunity

Description:
The Delivery Driver position is an hourly role within a unionized environment, responsible for delivering beer across the Lower Mainland while providing exceptional customer service. The successful candidate will report directly to the Warehouse Supervisors. Schedule is 4 x 10-hour shifts. Starting wage: $35.43/hour.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver beer (kegs and packaged) to and pick up empties from licensee accounts (heavy lifting is required)
- Organize and load a trailer according to a specific delivery schedule
- Securing contents to avoid damage or breakage to our products during transport
- Fill out necessary reports and documentation as required, in accordance with Company procedures and government regulations
- Maintain a clean and safe vehicle and report any vehicle deficiencies to Supervisor
- Load and unload delivery trucks as required
- Perform all assigned duties in a safe, efficient, and productive manner
- Other warehouse duties as required
Requirements:
- Minimum age of 19 years
- Minimum 3 years delivery driver experience
- Valid Class 1 or 3 driver's license with air brake endorsement; a Class 1 license would be considered an asset
- Must provide a clean driver's abstract
- Customer service/delivery experience an asset
- Electric walkie pallet jack certified
- Outgoing personality with the ability to develop positive customer relationships
- Dedication to customer service
- Physically fit and able to perform repetitive heavy lifting
- Daily keg (approx. 140 lbs) total may exceed 50
- Strong organizational/time management skills
- Knowledge of beer dispensing system an asset
- Willing to work shift work and some overtime as required
