About the role
Job Summary JOB DESCRIPTION Responsibilities for the Unit4 Associate Consultant (Finance) will be expected to have close familiarity with at least one of the following workstreams: Finance, Procurement, Budgeting, HR, Payroll, financial planning and analysis.
The Associate Consultant through learning will fill a critical role as a technical super-user and assist with the design, configuration, testing, deployment of the software and documenting the software development life cycle as well as end-user documentation.
Responsibilities
- Assist in solution build and configuration of the individual Unit4 ERP software modules.
- Prepare the procedures for users to follow during testing, document test results.
- Provide support to end-users and super-users after go-live
- Develop end-user training guides and training materials.
- Assist with developing data migration strategy and conduct system integration from legacy systems.
- Provide an effective communication channel between customer and technical consultants and other implementation team members.
- Maintain issue log for the project.
Education Minimum and/or Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or related experience
Experience
- Understanding accounting concepts
- Experience working with SQL/Relational Databases or equivalent is preferred.
Skill Requirements
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access and Power Point) Web-based research and information collection skills.
- Good command of the English language. Good verbal and written communication skills. Ability to proofread, edit and prepare routine written communication. Ability to respond in a clear and concise manner to requests and questions.
- Strong organization, planning, and problem-solving skills
- Strong self-management skills. Ability to set well-defined and realistic goals; monitor progress and achieve results; manage own time and deal with stress effectively; manage multiple tasks and projects.
- Ability to plan work in accordance with general direction.
- Strong results orientation, i.e., the ability to work at a fast pace and meet critical deadlines.
- Attention to detail and accuracy. Thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail.

This position can be based in Canada, the United States or Mexico.
