About the role

The Client: An established wealth management firm seeks a highly organized, professional Paraplanner to join their growing team. In this remote role, you will be responsible for providing high-level paraplanning support to the wealth management team.

As the Paraplanner you will be responsible for :

  • Assist in the preparation of detailed financial plans, reports, and investment proposals for clients.
  • Collaborate with financial advisors to review client financial data and develop tailored financial strategies.
  • Conduct research and analysis on financial products, investment options, and market trends.
  • Ensure that all client documentation, including compliance and regulatory requirements, is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Support the wealth management team in delivering exceptional client service by addressing inquiries and providing relevant information.
  • Manage and maintain client records in the company’s CRM system.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of paraplanning processes and best practices within the firm.

As the ideal candidate you possess :

  • Proven experience in a paraplanning or financial planning support role.
  • Are working towards the completion of your PFP/CFP designation
  • Diploma in Financial Planning
  • Strong understanding of financial planning principles, investment products, and regulatory requirements in Canada.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in preparing plans and reports.
  • Proficiency in financial planning software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining collaboration with the team.

The Remuneration:

  • Commensurate with experience and education our client is offering a competitive base salary, bonus, health benefits, support for industry education and 4 weeks paid vacation.
