Position Summary:

The Clinic Director will be responsible for overseeing all operations of the clinic while driving strategic growth initiatives and expanding our network of physicians and healthcare professionals. This leadership role requires a strong combination of business acumen, healthcare management experience, and a passion for team development and patient care excellence.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Director - Medical Clinic located in Scarborough. The Director will oversee the operations of the medical clinic, manage staff, and ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care. Responsibilities include developing clinic policies, implementing quality improvement initiatives, and collaborating with healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Growth & Development
• Develop and execute a scalable growth strategy for the clinic, including new services, locations, and patient acquisition initiatives.
• Identify opportunities for business development, partnerships, and community engagement.
• Drive key performance metrics such as patient volume, provider utilization, and financial sustainability.
• Team Building & Leadership
• Recruit, hire, and retain a high-performing team of doctors, nurses, and administrative staff.
• Foster a positive, collaborative culture that aligns with the clinic’s mission and values.
• Provide mentorship, training, and performance management to ensure clinical and operational excellence.
• Operations Management
• Oversee daily clinic operations, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, policies, and best practices.
• Optimize scheduling, patient flow, and resource allocation for maximum efficiency and satisfaction.
• Manage clinic budgets, financial reporting, and resource planning.
• Quality Assurance & Patient Care
• Champion initiatives to improve quality of care, patient outcomes, and overall patient experience.
• Implement systems to ensure high standards of clinical practice, safety, and ethical conduct.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience (3+ years) in healthcare leadership, clinic management, or medical operations.
• Strong background in recruiting and building physician teams.
• Track record of growing a clinic or healthcare practice is an asset
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and best practices.
• Exceptional leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field
