Business Development Manager – Material Elevated Work Platform (MEWP)
Location: Hamilton, ON or Stony Plain, AB
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. (flexibility as needed)

Are you a relationship builder with a strategic mindset and a passion for driving growth? We’re looking for 2 Business Development Manager to lead the charge in expanding our MEWP dealership network across Central Canada or from our hub in Stony Plain, AB and another one in Hamilton, ON. What You’ll Do:
As our Business Development Manager – MEWP, you’ll be the face of the brand to current and future dealerships, managing key relationships and unlocking new business opportunities. You’ll work hand-in-hand with our sales, service, and marketing teams to ensure our partners thrive.
Dealer Management & Growth
- Foster strong, long-term relationships with existing dealerships.
- Act as the go-to contact, helping partners succeed with performance support and regular communication.
- Identify and onboard high-potential new dealerships that align with our values and market goals.
Relationship Building & Market Development
- Conduct market research to spot new growth opportunities.
- Organize meetings and events to engage dealerships and drive alignment.
- Resolve concerns quickly and professionally — ensuring partner satisfaction.
Team Collaboration & Strategic Input
- Work cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure a seamless partner experience.
- Deliver insights from the field to help shape product, service, and operational improvements.
Leadership, Admin & Organization
- Mentor and guide team members by leading with integrity and initiative.
- Keep your CRM and reporting game strong — track dealership performance and use data to optimize strategies.
- Juggle priorities with ease to balance relationship-building with efficient administrative execution.
What You Bring:
- 5+ years of experience in outside sales, business development, or territory/account management.
- Ideally, background in the MEWP industry or dealership/OEM experience.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- A strategic and collaborative mindset, with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong leadership, time management, and organizational abilities.
- Comfortable navigating CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools.
- A valid driver’s license and ability to travel to meet partners in-person.
- Criminal Record Check clearance and eligibility to work in Canada.
