Position Summary:

Under the direction of the Redbirds Football Head Coach, the Technical Specialist – Assistant Coach will be expected to assist with various day to day coaching duties assigned to them (Defensive Backs, Linebackers, Receivers, Kickers, or Video & Equipment) and may include administrative duties as required.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and distribute on-field team equipment
  • Assist in the preparation of game and practice equipment for the team
  • Record activities during a game and keeping track of statistics
  • Assist with analysis of data and identify trends of game/team/athlete activity/competency during game and post-game and prepare reports to head coach
  • Support coaching staff in the implementation of practice and game plans
  • Assist with additional administrative tasks as required

Other Qualifying Skills and/or Abilities:

  • Knowledge or previous practical experience of the football sport.
  • Demonstrated coaching skills in the football sport. Prior coaching experience at an elite/competitive level is preferred.
  • Level II NCCP certification or equivalent is required.
  • CPR and first aid certification is highly recommended.
  • Highly organized, punctual, team-oriented and dedication are strong assets.
  • Available to work outside of normal business hours including evenings and weekends, as required.

Selected candidates are required to successfully pass their criminal background check.

Hourly Salary:

(AMUSE D) $18.92
