WHO WE ARE
Since 1991, Chervin has been designing, manufacturing, and installing high-end custom cabinetry in homes across Waterloo Region. Over the years, Chervin has expanded to serve the GTA and Muskoka region. Chervin has also built and acquired 4 sister companies which have given us the opportunity to be a key player in the markets for luxury hotel furniture, residential furniture, custom upholstered furniture, and home décor.
We are a family-owned and family-run business with a team of over 200 individuals pursuing “The Golden Means of Perfection”. WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Lead the install of custom cabinetry in the client’s homes according to the supplied drawings
- Install crown mold, base trim, etc. where required
- Fasten knobs/pulls on cabinet doors and drawers
- Professionally relate with the client on the jobsite
- Drive a company vehicle in a safe and professional manner to and from job sites as required, keeping the vehicle clean and tidy
- Maintain an organized and tidy workspace to ensure smooth processes and enable your team to produce the best quality products
- Collaborate with other team members, sales staff, and the Project Coordinator to ensure production requirements are met safely and efficiently
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- Ability to read and discern blueprints
- Ability to lift 50-75lbs
- Physically fit (repetitious up and down movements, handling large cabinetry)
- A skilled understanding of woodworking tools
- Valid G-license and current driving abstract
- A keen attention to detail
- A self-motivated desire to produce valuable work
- An enthusiastic personality
- A collaborative and creative nature
- An attitude that is hardworking and eager to learn
- A passion for the core values that are foundational to our company
- A commitment to punctuality and dependability
- 2+ years of general wood working experience (cabinetry experience preferred)
