About the role

We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Insurance Salesperson to join our team in Alberta. As a Life Insurance Salesperson, you will be responsible for helping clients select life insurance policies that best meet their needs, providing exceptional customer service, and achieving sales targets. Your role will involve working with existing clients, utilizing our corporate database, educating potential clients, and maintaining relationships to ensure long-term satisfaction and coverage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Consultation Meet with clients to understand their financial situation, needs, and objectives to recommend appropriate insurance products.
  • Sales and Marketing Develop and implement sales strategies to work with existing clients and utilize our corporate database to retain and expand client relationships.
  • Policy Management Assist clients with policy applications, adjustments, claims, and renewals. Ensure all documentation is accurate and submitted in a timely manner.
  • Customer Service Provide ongoing support and service to clients, addressing any concerns or questions regarding their policies. Maintain regular contact to review and update coverage as necessary.
  • Compliance Stay updated on industry regulations and company policies to ensure all sales activities comply with legal and ethical standards.
  • Product Knowledge Continuously improve knowledge of insurance products, industry trends, and competitors to effectively communicate benefits and features to clients.
  • Reporting Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and transactions. Prepare regular reports for management review.

Qualifications

  • Education High school diploma or equivalent required; Accident and Sickness Insurance licenses
  • Experience Proven experience in sales, preferably in the insurance industry. Experience in insurance sales is highly desirable.
  • Licensing Must hold a valid insurance license in Alberta

  • Ability to build and maintain client relationships
  • Good organizational and time-management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software
