Purpose:
This position is responsible for the strategic management of the assigned product portfolio including and the ongoing review and segmentation by category, the analysis of industry and consumer trends, business reviews with key manufacturers and suppliers, and focus approach to growing the business. The incumbent will develop commercial strategies for growth and execution, which may include (but not limited to), pricing programs, promotion, and product range management to maximize sales and profitability.

Job Responsibilities:
-Strategic short-term and long-term planning: Develop and execute innovative local strategies leveraging market insights, customer feedback, and solution selling approach. Continuously assess and refine local product strategies and initiatives based on market feedback, performance data, and emerging industry trends to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
-Product Positioning: Ability to monitor product performance vs. the competition using metrics/KPIs, such as sales, market share, in order to track the success of product launches and initiatives identifying areas for improvement. Ensure product positioning is appropriate and aligned with sales and commercial execution.
-Market Sensing, Research and Assessment: Leverage market research to inform marketing strategies, identify growth opportunities, leverage competitive analyses to understand market trends, identify competitors' strengths and weaknesses.
-Pricing Strategy: Contribute to pricing strategies and financial analyses based on market dynamics, historical pricing, and competitive pricing.
-Marketing Communications: Help identify content for promotional campaigns across various channels, contributing to brand marketing efforts and ensuring consistent messaging. Participate in preparing product related content for trade shows and conferences, including on-brand promotional materials.
-Collaboration: On-going collaboration with the Sales Team and internal stakeholders (i.e. Sr. Manager Strategic Sourcing, Sales Operations) to ensure clarity and alignment on focused target customer segments, and product positioning for ongoing commercial activities. Work with respective team members to support Sales account planning initiatives, like quarterly business reviews and program management reviews for key accounts.
-Analytical inclination: Superior ability to pull together diverse and complex information and data and design refined strategies, solutions, workflows, and procedures that are presentable to stakeholders. understanding what data means and how to apply it to identify opportunities and solve problems. Develop and present market data, product data, and strategy to support business reviews with key suppliers and manufacturers.
-Relationship Building: establish strong and meaningful relationships with key business partners. Collaborate with Sales, Sales Support, Marketing, and Operations as a team player and with a growth mindset to deliver on objectives. Establish meaningful and mutually beneficial relationships with key customers and client to best service patient needs.
-Curiosity & Resourcefulness: Driven by curiosity and fueled by resourcefulness. When in situations or paths less familiar, the incumbent has the innate tendency to solve/resolve/understand the current state and suggest ideas of where to go next.

Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Science, or related field is preferred
-3 or more years of experience in Marketing, and or Sales Operations with a preference for Medical Device or ---Healthcare experience
-Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.
-Proficiency in Salesforce.com and Microsoft Office suite.
-Strong working knowledge of MS Teams, SharePoint an asset.
-Ability to thrive in a fast-paced collaborative team environment and effectively engage with internal and external stakeholders.
-Ability to manage a large product portfolio and multiple priorities.
-Ability to prioritize revenue-generating activities.
