Who you are
- Possess a Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA designation or equivalent is a plus
- Demonstrate a proven track record of experience in business finance, financial analysis, or a related role
- Possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Have excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Have experience with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Be able to present financial data and collaborate with senior leadership
- Be proficient in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Demonstrate experience with Oracle as it is advantageous
What the job involves
- We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Finance Analyst to join our finance team, specializing in revenue and indirect costs
- This role will focus on financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting, providing strategic insights to support business leaders
- The successful candidate will work closely with senior management to evaluate financial performance, assist in decision-making, and ensure alignment with business objectives, ultimately contributing to profitability and operational efficiency
- You will report directly to the Senior Business Finance Manager of Indirect Costs
- Conducting in-depth financial analysis, focusing on indirect costs, margins, and key financial metrics
- Preparing and presenting monthly financial reports, including variance analysis, KPIs, and trends
- Ensuring accurate, timely financial data aligned with business goals
- Supporting the annual budgeting process and ongoing forecasts
- Assisting in the preparation of flash Adjusted EBITDAR, focusing on indirect costs
- Monitoring budget performance and provide insights to ensure alignment with financial targets
- Analyzing costs across business units and identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement
- Collaborating with departments to implement cost-saving initiatives and track outcomes
- Partnering with senior management and functional teams to assess performance and drive improvements
