About the role
Morton Food Service, a division of Morton Wholesale Ltd. is currently seeking a professional food service delivery driver helper in the Sarnia Area. Driver Helpers are required to ride with and assist with the delivery of orders to our customers following an assigned route in a timely and professional manner.
This is a seasonal position and would be well suited for a student looking for a summer position. The hours are Monday to Friday starting at approximately 5:00 am until the completion of the delivery route**.**

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- A Driver Helper is required to follow all safety protocols, laws, policies and procedures as set up by Morton Food Service.
- Provide exceptional customer service to build and maintain positive relationships with customers.
- Interact with customers in a courteous and respectful manner.
- Ensure the safe, accurate and timely delivery of customer orders.
- Confirm accuracy of order following proper scanning procedures.
- You must be detailed orientated to make sure every order is delivered to maximize efficiency.
- Other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Excellent verbal, written and communication skills
- Customer Service oriented
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Capable of lifting 5 to 50lbs repeatedly
- Able to work in a variety of weather conditions
- Able to work longer hours at times until the deliveries are completed
Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 2 months
Pay: $18.00-$19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 45 per week
Additional pay:
- Overtime pay
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
Work Location: In person
Expected start date: 2025-06-26
