Impact & Influence on Guests, Associates and Business

Provide professional, respectful and friendly customer service at all times, whether responding to guest inquiries/concerns or correcting guest behaviour

Conduct opening and closing duties

Responsible for overall cleanliness of pool and recreational areas

Understand and comply with hotel emergency procedures and policies
-
Report maintenance and or equipment failure concerns to Manager
-
Provide supervision and ensure guests adhere to all safety guidelines and rules
-
Ensure pool areas comply with provincial health and safety standards through water testing, chemical handling and preventative maintenance
-
Knowledge of department cleaning products; this includes complying with all safe handling procedures and wearing required PPE as necessary
-
Conduct on the job training to new associates as required

Other duties as assigned

Education, Experience, and Skills
- Previous pool experience an asset
Work Conditions

Minimum 16 years of age

Moderate level of mental effort, high level of mental alertness

Moderate level of physical effort (may include activities such as periodic lifting up to 50 lbs)

High level of sensory attention; sight and hearing
-
Standing and/or walking for prolonged periods of time

Must be available to work days evenings and weekends
