Job Summary
The purpose of this position is to develop the survey questionnaire for the performance measurement project funded by the National Research Council of Canada.

Organizational Status
This position will report directly to Dr. Qian Chen, the project lead of the performance measurement project funded by the National Research Council of Canada.

Work Performed

Complete the survey questionnaire for the construction industry stakeholders in Canada and the human ethics to submit to UBC's Behavioral Research Ethics Board.

Assist in the literature review of the performance measurement frameworks.

Assist in the collection of the survey responses and data analysis of the survey results.

Consequence of Error/Judgement
The work of this position will be monitored by Dr. Qian Chen and Dr. Muhammad Fawad (Postdoc Fellow) in this project. Errors could potentially result in delays in completing the project.

Supervision Received
This position will be directly supervised by Dr. Qian Chen and indirectly supervised by Dr. Muhammad Fawad (Postdoc Fellow).

Supervision Given

This position will not be supervising others.

Minimum Qualifications

High school graduation, some additional training in a related field and a minimum two years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Willingness to respect diverse perspectives, including perspectives in conflict with one’s own

Demonstrates a commitment to enhancing one’s own awareness, knowledge, and skills related to equity, diversity, and inclusion

Preferred Qualifications

Undergraduate degree.

Prior experience of developing surveys

Working knowledge of computer applications for Word processing and Excel spreadsheets.

Demonstrated communication/interpersonal skills.

Demonstrated organizational skills

Demonstrated ability to work both independently and within a team environment is critical; must be self directed.
