Coordinator, Digital Marketing
The Role We're looking for a detail-driven Digital Marketing Coordinator to join our Marketing & Communications team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is passionate about delivering high-quality digital content and email campaigns.
With a primary focus on email marketing for our events team and maintaining digital profiles and communications, you'll play a critical role in how our brand is presented across platforms. You'll report to the Manager, Marketing & Communications and work closely with internal stakeholders, including lawyers, leadership, and business development.
This is a hands-on role for a digital marketer with strong execution skills, an eye for quality and consistency, and confidence navigating digital tools and platforms.
Essential Functions Digital Content & Email Marketing Execution (65%)
- Email Marketing Coordination: Oversee and execute on the end-to-end delivery of email marketing campaigns for the events team—coordinating invitation requirements, securing internal approvals, scheduling sends throughout the event lifecycle, and testing/reviewing outgoing emails. Serve as the subject matter expert on the email marketing system, staying current with best practices and new technology developments.
- Internal Training & Support: Train and support internal departments on the effective use of the email marketing tool within brand and marketing standards, ensuring teams leverage the system to achieve their communication objectives.
- Content Publication: Manage the publication of marketing content across digital platforms—including blog publications, social media postings, general website updates and internal communications.
- New Lawyer Bio Management: Support the intake and processing of new lawyer bios, ensuring timely updates and accurate representation of lawyer profiles. Collaborate with Business Development partners to position new lawyer bios effectively, highlighting representative work and expertise.
- Trend Monitoring & Reporting: Stay abreast of the latest trends in email marketing communications and digital publishing. Support the team by providing periodic reports on campaign performance and digital marketing initiatives.
Digital Operations & Mentorship (20%)
- Process Improvement & System Support: Assist in implementing workflow improvements and automation tools to streamline digital processes and enhance overall efficiency.
- Systems & Data Integration: Collaborate with internal IT, data, and CRM teams to ensure that digital marketing platforms and systems are effectively integrated to support our initiatives.
- Training & Documentation: Develop and deliver training sessions on digital marketing tools and maintain comprehensive process documentation to support ongoing operational improvements.
Project & Stakeholder Support (15%)
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders—events team, internal leadership, team leadership, lawyers etc—to ensure digital projects meet strategic needs and are executed seamlessly and on time.
Qualifications
- University degree or other post-secondary degree in marketing, business administration, commerce, design, UX or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of marketing experience, ideally in a professional services or B2B setting.
- Proven experience with email marketing platforms and a solid understanding of email best practices and trigger-to-email delivery processes.
- Experience with digital publishing and content management systems (e.g., SiteCore, WordPress).
- Familiarity with marketing technology systems; experience with CASL regulations and CRM platforms is an asset.
- Work at a high level both independently and with others, juggling multiple priorities with tight deadlines while maintaining strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (i.e., InDesign, Photoshop) is an asset.
- Excellent proofreading and writing skills, with the ability to produce clear, concise, and engaging content.
- Strong stakeholder and communication skills, with the aptitude to work effectively both independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
