Shifts: 6:30am to 6:30pm (12 Hr Shifts, Days and Nights)
Responsibilities:
- Maintenance and operation of automated computerized control of high-pressure boilers, and effluent treatment plant
- Monitor and inspect plant equipment, switches, valves, gauges, alarms, meters and other instruments, to detect leaks or other equipment malfunctions and to ensure plant equipment is operating at maximum efficiency.
Essential Skills / Experience:
- Mechanical knowledge is an asset
- Ability to communicate with trades people, machine operators and supervisors
- Must have boiler experience.
- Good working knowledge and experience of water treatment,
- Good housekeeping and record keeping habits.
- Hold a 3rd class TSSA Stationary Engineers ticket.
