General Description: Purpose of Role

Responsible for the overall management of the RSC including people management and all RSC

activities. Actively contribute to a positive, productive and safe working environment.

Here’s where you’ll be focusing:

  • Responsible for creating a culture and environment within the RSC that makes it an inviting place

to work

  • Communicating changes and new plans to staff

  • Coach, mentor and inspire, as well as reward and recognize staff

  • Conduct performance reviews and develop succession planning

  • Ensure staff are properly trained on all programs

  • Manage disciplinary process of direct reports

  • Ensure staff know their roles and hold them accountable

  • Transfer best practices throughout the organization

  • Participate in the creation RSC budget and capital requests

  • Continually seek process improvements that eliminate waste and non-value added activities

  • On a daily basis, participate in meeting and manage communication

  • Ensure all applicable company policies and procedures are communicated and adhered

  • Other duties which may be assigned

  • Product Safety Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance of all food safety standards, guidelines and procedures

  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment as per company requirements

  • Monitor temperature controls

  • Ensure proper product rotation and compliance with code dates

  • Maintain pest control policies and procedures

  • Follow product recall policies and procedures as per company requirements

  • Compliance with all Company food safety standards, guidelines and procedures

  • Ensure compliance with personal hygiene and proper sanitation

  • Food Safety Certified

What you have to offer:

Required: · A minimum of five years management experience · Strong financial background · Working knowledge of EXE and SAP

Preferred: · Experience in a Retail Support Centre

Working Experience Required: · Post Secondary Diploma or Equivalent Preferred: · Undergraduate degree in Management or Logistics

Working Conditions

  • Retail support centre

  • Involves physical work including frequent bending, lifting and reaching

  • Ability to work on a computer for extended periods of time
