Within the Finance Department, the Public Utilities Board of Manitoba (PUB) is an independent, quasi-judicial administrative tribunal that has broad oversight and supervisory powers over public utilities and designated monopolies, as set out in statute. The PUB considers both the impact to customers and financial requirements of the utility in approving rates. The PUB is currently looking for an Executive Coordinator (One year term) to join the team.

Qualifications:
Essential:
- Post secondary education in a paralegal program or related field. A combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Extensive Accounting experience including accounts payables, accounts receivables, invoice processing, inventory control, attendance management, drafting cashflows, budgets and petty cash reconciliation.
- Extensive SAP experience.
- Strong written communication skills with the ability to proofread and edit business correspondence.
- Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with the a variety of stakeholders in person or over the phone.
- Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage conflict.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills to meet strict and competing deadlines.
- Ability to conduct financial research and reports.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat and Apple iPad.
Desired:
- Experience using SharePoint for web publishing and web-based document management system.
Duties:
The Executive Coordinator provides administrative, clerical and analytical support services to all professional positions of the Public Utilities Board (PUB). Some of the duties include: Managing files and submission documents on behalf of the Executive level of PUB, managing meeting logistics, maintain a tracking system for filing of Board Directives and commercially sensitive information submissions, managing all accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoice processing, ESOR’s, inventory, attendance, billings normally associated with office manager responsibilities and initiating, processing, monitoring, and receiving office supplies and office IT equipment and specialized assets
