About the Role:
The Accounts Payable Analyst is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timely processing of invoices, expense reports, and payments to vendors and internal stakeholders. The role requires strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments. This position supports the integrity of financial reporting and plays a key role in maintaining effective internal controls over the accounts payable function.
What you will do….
- Review and process vendor invoices in accordance with company policies and payment terms.
- Match purchase orders, receipts, and invoices to ensure three-way match compliance.
- Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies and communicate with vendors and internal teams as needed.
- Process employee expense reports in compliance with corporate policies.
- Ensure timely and accurate payment runs (EFT, ACH, wire, cheques, etc.).
- Assist with month-end close activities including accruals and reconciliations related to accounts payable.
- Maintain vendor master data and ensure all documentation is up-to-date and complete.
- Support audits by providing required documentation and reports.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to system enhancement projects.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, tax regulations (e.g., sales/use tax), and SOX requirements.

- Have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Have 3-5 years of experience in Accounts Payable or a related role.
- Are proficient in ERP systems (MS Dynamics preferred).
- Have experience with automated AP systems or workflow tools and tax reporting requirements (e.g. 1099s).
- Possess strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.).
- Have excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Have strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Have the ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
