About the role
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve food items in accordance with company standards and recipes
- Handle cash transactions and operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and dining areas
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting and assisting customers with their orders
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe dining experience for customers
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations and smooth workflow
- Assist with inventory management, including restocking supplies and ingredients
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in food handling, food preparation, or food service is preferred
- Proficient in cash handling and basic math skills for accurate transactions
- Familiarity with POS systems and cashiering procedures is a plus
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate clearly with coworkers
- Excellent customer service skills to provide a positive dining experience for customers
