Candidates must be proficient in G-code programming and able to program CNC machines directly.
What You’ll Do:
- Interpret technical drawings, work orders, and blueprints to plan machining
- Program CNC machines using G-codes and CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam)
- Set up and operate the Shoda CNC router to produce precision components
- Measure and inspect parts to ensure quality and compliance with client specs
- Monitor material inventory and prepare stock for jobs
- Follow strict safety protocols and contribute to a clean, organized workspace
- Troubleshoot and maintain machinery as needed
- Document production activities and contribute ideas for process improvement
What We’re Looking For:
- High school diploma or equivalent (technical certification or diploma is an asset)
- Strong G-code programming skills – required
- Experience with CAD/CAM software such as Mastercam
- Minimum 3 years of CNC machine operating experience, preferably in woodworking
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical and technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Excellent math, computer, and analytical skills
- Positive, dependable, and solution-oriented

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 44 per week
