Pihesiw Lodge is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our team.
This role involves providing administrative and clerical support to ensure efficient operations in a dynamic work environment. A strong working knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office is essential.
Daily Responsibilities
- Directing inquiries appropriately
- Perform data entry, maintain records, and prepare reports
- Support the team with document preparation and file management
- Inventory support for operations
- Provide support for cultural programming logistics when needed
- Ensure adherence to confidentiality and administrative protocols
Experience or Knowledge
- 1+ years of experience in an administrative or office support role
- Education in office administration or a related field (preferred)
- Familiarity with Indigenous communities and cultural awareness is an asset
Skills and Abilities
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office
- Professional written and verbal communication
- Reliable and punctual, with attention to detail
- Able to handle confidential information responsibly
- Team player with a proactive approach to problem-solving

- Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License & Driver’s Abstract
- Two Employment References
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 per week
