About the role
Are you a detail-oriented problem-solver with a passion for organization and digital retail? Sherlock Clothing Ltd. is looking for an Ecommerce Coordinator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll play an essential part in maintaining the accuracy, efficiency, and performance of our ecommerce websites across all three of our retail brands: PSEUDIO, envy+grace, and Samuel & Co.
This is a multifaceted position ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can pivot between tasks with ease, and enjoys analytics and problem solving. The ideal candidate is resourceful, solutions-oriented, and excited to learn and grow with a collaborative team. You’ll work closely with our IT, buying, and marketing teams to ensure our online product presentation is seamless, up-to-date, and optimized for conversion. Note: this role will be in-person at our Halifax headquarters.
Responsibilies
- Own pre- and post-upload product enhancement including tagging images, copywriting, creating size guides and applying swatches to all product variants
- Ensure navigational collection accuracy; new products are sorted correctly into established menu items
- Execute regular site sweeps to ensure no errors are present, troubleshoot any issues within Shopify admin & ERP system
- Assist with general site maintenance as needed
- Manage Studio inventory ensuring all product is accounted for
- Create regular reports outlining ecommerce KPIs and metrics, noting wins, anomalies and areas of opportunity
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to identify problems and work toward solutions
Who We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in ecommerce, retail, or digital merchandising is a strong asset
- Undergraduate degree in business, marketing or a related field considered an asset
- Experience with Shopify considered a strong asset
- A self-starter with strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
- Able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with confidence and flexibility
- Quick to learn new systems, tools, and processes
- Strong written communication skills with a knack for clear, engaging product copy
- A critical thinker who enjoys identifying problems and proposing thoughtful, data-driven solutions
- Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets with the ability to interpret and present ecommerce KPIs
