Role Overview
We’re looking for a reliable and detail-focused Digital Marketing Specialist to take over the maintenance, duplication, and light optimization of our existing Meta and Google Ads campaigns. Google Ads is fully set up and performing; Meta has a solid foundation but needs a few additional campaigns created. This is not a strategy-heavy role - it’s perfect for someone who knows the ad platforms well and can execute quickly and cleanly.
What You’ll Do
Meta Ads
- Duplicate and launch new campaigns based on existing frameworks
- Collaborate to create a few new campaigns (ad copy and visuals provided)
- Optimize targeting, placements, and budgets for performance
Google Ads
- Light maintenance only (occasional checks, minor keyword or bid adjustments)
Performance Monitoring
- Deliver a monthly summary of performance with basic insights and improvement ideas
- Flag underperforming creatives and collaborate on simple fixes (no design required)
Who You Are
- 1-2 years of experience running Meta and/or Google Ads campaigns
- Comfortable executing within a pre-built structure (not expected to build strategy from scratch)
- Familiar with Shopify tracking, UTM links, and performance metrics (CTR, CPC, ROAS, etc.)
- Responsive, efficient, and detail-oriented
Nice to Have
- Experience navigating Meta/Google policy issues or disapprovals
- Familiarity with light graphic editing tools (Canva, basic Photoshop)
- Understanding of conversion-focused copy or ad creative structure
Candidates based in Ontario are preferred; however, we welcome applications from qualified individuals across Canada.
Compensation & Terms
- Contract role - hourly to start, monthly retainer option available after initial work is complete
- 6-10 hour time commitment upfront
- $20-$40/hr based on skills and experience
- Flexible hours, asynchronous communication
