Job Summary The Credit Management Specialist is responsible for the Customer Master credit side completion of the new account set-up. Conduct credit worthiness of the customer by thorough review of the application and pulling credit report as required.
Core Job Responsibilities
- Review account set up for accuracy, ensuring business registration & government ID's are valid & attached to the account.
- Review customer credit worthiness by pulling credit report as required.
- Assign credit limit, credit risk & collector allocation.
- Assign province tax codes.
- Set-up invoice outputs for all new accounts.
- Reach out to customers paying by CC to acquire the CC info and ensure that accounts are reviewed on time throughout the day.
- Respond to inquiries for orders on block to ensure timely release, and block accounts as required.
- Responsible in maintaining Can-Credit Apps mailbox, ensuring timely response to inquiries.
- Support AR Inbound for incoming calls, credit card payments & balancing
Qualifications
- University/ College Diploma.
- 1-3 years of current experience in a comparable role.
- Finance / Accounting experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and other Office applications.
- SAP experience is a must.
