The DoubleTree by Hilton Montreal airport hotel is a beautiful and renovated establishment located just 1km away from the airport.

Job description

Reporting to the Director of Sales, the candidate will be responsible for positioning and promoting the hotel's products and services in the West Island of Montreal as well as the Greater Montreal area.
They will actively contribute to the development and implementation of the sales and marketing plan, while proudly representing the DoubleTree by Hilton values.

Part-Time Position – 24 hours per week
Schedule subject to change based on hotel needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Promote the property and actively solicit clients for meetings and events
  • Participate in Hilton sales activities and keep sales tools up to date
  • Understand client needs (event type, number of attendees, budget, etc.)
  • Organize and conduct site visits with prospective clients
  • Discuss menus, pricing, equipment, and room setup to maximize revenue
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure the smooth execution of events
  • Prepare contracts, process bookings, and ensure accurate billing
  • Make necessary arrangements and follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction
  • Maintain accurate client records and optimize use of event spaces
  • Support the Director of Sales and act as their backup in their absence

Skills:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in French and English
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage priorities
  • Sales experience with focus on strategy, growth, and profitability
  • Team player with cross-departmental collaboration skills
  • Customer service-oriented with a professional, attentive approach
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and hotel systems (Delphi, MeetingBroker, etc.)
  • Able to perform well under pressure
  • Minimum 2 years of hotel experience, including 1 year in sales or event coordination
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Knowledge of the West Island market (an asset)
  • Additional languages (an asset)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $23.75 per hour
