Best Buy Canada is thrilled to announce the opening of our newest store in Fort McMurray coming soon! We can’t wait to serve the community with great products, expert advice, and repair and installation services.
We are hiring immediately two leadership roles:

Retail store manager (which we call store leader)

Assistant store manager (which we call assistant store leader)

Retail store manager
(general manager): You will oversee all aspects of our store, from leading a team to partnering with all areas of the business, and vendors. You will motivate, coach, develop and inspire your team, cultivate an inclusive environment, oversee store KPI’s and maintain a healthy profit and loss.
You bring to the store manager role:
-
7+ years of retail store manager experience
-
5+ years of experience leading a large retail team and managing and reviewing operational expenses and revenue
-
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales goals in a high-sales volume store
-
A leader who leads by example on the floor to increase employee engagement, customer experience and revenue opportunities
-
Ability to create an inclusive, fun and safe work environment
-
Ability to travel to other store locations for training for the first two months in role
Assistant store manager: You will lead and coach a team of sales advisors and work together to create an amazing customer experience. You will also support in creating an inclusive environment, healthy store KPIs and profit and loss.
You bring to the assistant store manager role:

2+ years’ experience leading a retail team of at least 20 associates

2+ years’ experience managing and reviewing operational expenses and revenue

Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales goals

Ability to create an inclusive, fun and safe work environment

Ability to travel to other store locations for training for the first two months in role
