Job Summary
Dalhousie’s Faculty of Management offers graduate programs that prepare students for leadership in the public, private, and nonprofit sectors. With a strong focus on experiential learning, career development, and values-based leadership, our programs include the MBA, MPA, MI, MScB, and Master of Management. Reporting to the Associate Director of Graduate Recruitment and Admissions, the Recruitment and Marketing Coordinator promotes these programs and supports enrolment growth. This role leads strategic recruitment initiatives, coordinates marketing activities, and advises prospective students throughout their application journey.
Key Responsibilities

Represent programs at recruitment events, webinars, and outreach opportunities across Canada and beyond

Provide personalized advising and support to prospective students from inquiry through to application

Coordinate marketing materials and digital campaigns in collaboration with internal teams
-
Track recruitment engagement and outcomes using CRM systems (e.g., Slate, Airtable), and contribute insights to planning
-
Build relationships with partner institutions, advisors, and organizations to enhance program visibility
-
Manage day-to-day recruitment operations, including event planning, outreach logistics, and supervision of student staff
Note
The successful applicant will be eligible for hybrid work (combination of in-person work on campus and remote work) as agreed by all parties based on operational requirements and university guidelines.
Domestic and occasional international travel is required to represent Dalhousie’s graduate programs at events, fairs, and partner institutions. During peak recruitment periods, extended hours and travel flexibility may be required.
Required Qualifications
-
Undergraduate degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field, plus three to five years’ of relevant experience in recruitment, marketing, or consultative sales (or an equivalent combination of training and experience)

Proven experience managing recruitment or sales pipelines and using CRM tools to track engagement and outcomes
-
Exceptional interpersonal and advising skills, with the ability to communicate clearly with diverse audiences, including prospective students and professional stakeholders

Strong public speaking and presentation skills, with experience leading both in-person and virtual events
-
Excellent writing and content development skills, with an understanding of audience-specific messaging across channels
-
Highly organized, with strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently; supervisory experience and knowledge of Canadian higher education are considered assets
