Job Description:
We’re looking for an Environmental Sustainability Specialist to join our passionate team and contribute to meaningful environmental progress on a global scale. In this role, you’ll help ensure compliance with Provincial and State Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) regulations, as well as key Federal Environmental Compliance programs. You’ll support our Global Sustainability goals by collecting and analyzing packaging data, while also engaging in specialized projects that drive real impact. What You’ll Do:
- Contributes to ensuring compliance with Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) programs, the Canadian Environmental Protection Act (CEPA) and other relevant Environmental Compliance programs in both the US and Canada. This includes tracking program obligations and fee schedules and creating packaging calculators for annual reporting
- Responsible for completing monthly Merchandise Category audits, researching program category definitions, and generating remittance files to ensure compliance with all State and Provincial recycling programs
- Responsible for conducting physical packaging audits, data entry and analysis tasks and creating average category packaging calculations to ensure complete and accurate reporting for State and Provincial packaging EPR programs and Federal reporting requirements
About You:
- Minimum three (3) years of experience with specific experience in Retail or the Consumer-Packaged Goods sector; knowledge of and ability to apply Environmental and Sustainability principles and ability to apply concepts, methods, models and processes is considered an asset
- Strong organizational skills with ability to implement and manage details, prioritize, time management and multi-task with limited supervision and sometimes under time pressure
- Strong business analytics skills with ability to interpret and articulate complex data findings at a high level to appropriate business partners and assimilate / present data to Senior Management

The salary offered may be higher than the posted range depending on several factors such as relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
