Acts as a subject matter expert on specific marketing and sales force programs and applications. Analyzes business opportunities to recommend new strategies, programs, and tactics. Designs and executes programs to improve the effectiveness of the sales force, including the development, enhancement, and maintenance of a suite of sales force applications/programs. Provides support to employees to facilitate the achievement of business results.

  • Serves as a Liaison between Product and Sales, developing internal and client-facing content for the Sales team.
  • Acts as a trusted advisor to assigned business/group.
  • Influences and negotiates to achieve business objectives.
  • Recommends and implements solutions based on analysis of situation and implications for the business.
  • Assists in the development of strategic plans.
  • Helps determine business priorities and best sequence for execution.
  • Builds effective relationships with internal/external stakeholders.
  • Ensures alignment between stakeholders.
  • Monitors and tracks performance, and addresses any issues.
  • Participates in a variety of change management activities including readiness assessments, planning, stakeholder management, execution, evaluation and sustainment of initiatives.
  • Leads or participates in defining the communication plan designed to positively influence or change behaviour; develops tailored messaging; and identifies appropriate distribution channels.
  • Identifies business needs as it relates to new product launches, designs/develops content to support such efforts.
  • Monitors and tracks performance and addresses any issues.
  • Assist in launching new processes, products, and sales campaigns into the sales force.
  • Reviews the program for effectiveness, considers industry trends, and recommends enhancements; implements changes.
  • Focus is primarily on business/group within BMO; may have broader, enterprise-wide focus.
  • Provides specialized consulting, analytical and technical support.
  • Exercises judgment to identify, diagnose, and solve problems within given rules.
  • Works independently and regularly handles non-routine situations.
  • Broader work or accountabilities may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Typically between 3-5 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in Business or a related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Verbal & written communication skills - In-depth.
