About the role
Story Operations Lead
Location: Remote (ON, Canada Preferred) | Type: Full-time
About the Role
DailyMentor is a community of DTC founders backed by an experienced network of mentors. As Story Ops Lead , you’ll own how our brand shows up - visually, verbally, and across every channel we publish on.
This is a cross-functional role blending content, creative, and marketing operations. You’ll work closely with our Head of Marketing & Partnerships to shape campaigns, execute brand storytelling, and build systems that help us scale our creative output.
You’ll bring sharp copy instincts, a strong sense for content performance, and the ability to manage both people and process. Your job is to turn our ideas into execution - and keep our brand consistent and compelling as we grow.
What You’ll Do
- Own Our Story: Lead content and creative execution across LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, Slack, and more
- Run the System: Build and manage workflows across ClickUp, Skool, Loom, and Drive
- Write + Edit: Develop copy for video scripts, paid ads, social posts, guides, and more
- Drive Brand Consistency: Manage file naming, thumbnails, formatting, and creative guidelines
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work with media buyers, mentors, designers, and freelancers
- Fuel Growth: Lead creative testing, repurposing, and channel optimization based on performance
- Support Events & Partnerships: Contribute to content for launches, demos, and IRL/virtual activations
- Coordinate Execution: From video drops to calendar publishing - you’ll keep things moving
What You’ll Bring
- 3–6 years in a marketing or content role within DTC, SaaS, or fast-paced startup
- Experience writing and editing across formats: social, paid, video, and email
- Strong understanding of content systems and marketing operations
- Familiarity with Meta Ads, creative iteration, and performance-focused campaigns
- Ability to manage content calendars, delegate tasks, and move quickly without dropping details
- A sharp creative eye and deep care for brand quality and clarity
- Comfortable working async and independently, but collaborative by nature
Bonus Points
- Experience building internal content workflows or managing content ops
- Familiar with our stack: ClickUp, Notion, Skool, Webflow, Canva, Loom, Riverside
- Strong video editing or creative direction background
- Exposure to community-led or education-based brands
- Interest in improving internal systems and automation
Success Looks Like
- Our content flows consistently across all channels, on-brand and on time
- You write fast, edit clean, and bring structure to our creative process
- Campaigns are delivered with clarity, speed, and performance tracking
- You raise the bar on how our brand shows up—from thumbnails to taglines
- You work proactively with marketing, mentors, and creators to push ideas forward
- The community feels your impact—from social posts to Slack updates
- You help DailyMentor scale its presence while protecting what makes us great
